Job Summary
Provide comprehensive nursing services to pediatric patients in their homes while maintaining updated clinical records and consulting physicians on care plan alterations. Evaluate nursing service effectiveness, educate caregivers on care needs, and participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement programs. Mentor new employees during orientations, complete mandatory training, and submit personnel documentation. Adhere to state Nurse Practice Acts, maintain patient confidentiality, and perform other duties as assigned. Requires an RN or LPN license, one year of experience preferred, and ability to lift 50 pounds. Schedule includes varying shifts from 8 to 12 hours, Sunday through Saturday, with travel to patient homes.
Required Qualifications
- RN/LPN Nursing Degree
- Unencumbered RN/LPN License in the state of employment or Multi-State license through the Enhanced Nurse Licensures Compact where recognized
- Valid driver's license with proof of insurance in applicable states
- Clear background screening
- Working knowledge of Nurse Practice Acts
- Valid and current CPR card/certificate with in-person instructor led hands on skills check
- Clear Hep B Screening in applicable states
- Clear TB Screening in applicable states
- Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds (50) pounds without an assisted lifting device
- The ability to read and communicate in English both verbally and in writing
- Availability on any day of the week, Sunday through Saturday
