RN/LPN - Pediatric Private Duty Nursing (Storm Lake)

Job Summary
Provide in-home pediatric nursing care to patients with life-long health conditions. Deliver comprehensive nursing services within the home setting, including licensure-compliant care, medication management, and tube feedings. Maintain updated clinical records, evaluate nursing effectiveness, and consult with physicians to adapt care plans. Educate patients and families, participate in quality initiatives (QAPI), and contribute to ongoing professional development and training. Travel to patients’ homes is required; shifts include weekends with 8-, 10-, or 12-hour options. This role emphasizes a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, mentorship of new staff, and adherence to company policies, state/federal regulations, and confidentiality obligations.
Required Qualifications
- LPN/LVN Nursing Degree
- Unencumbered LPN/LVN License in the state of employment or Multi-State license through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact where recognized
- 1 years of demonstrated experience
- Valid driver license with proof of insurance in applicable states
- Clear background screening
- Working knowledge of Nurse Practice Acts
- Valid and current CPR card/certificate with in person instructor led hands on skills check
- Clear Hep B Screening in applicable states
- Clear TB Screening in applicable states
