Job Summary
Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for children with autism, seizure disorders, or feeding tube needs in a home setting. Monitor the child's health and safety, administer medications, and perform routine treatments while assisting with mobility and positioning. Deliver seizure awareness and response, complete clinical documentation, and communicate updates with parents and the care team. Offer comfort, engagement, and emotional reassurance throughout care. Flexible shifts available throughout Lackawanna County with medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus PTO and 401(k) match.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN or LPN license (state-specific)
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Comfortable providing care for children with developmental and complex medical needs
- Dependable, patient, and attentive bedside manner
- Frequent standing and walking
- Assisting patients
- Operating medical equipment
- Bending, reaching, positioning
- Occasional patient transfers or lifting
Desired Qualifications
- Pediatric experience preferred, not required
