RN/LPN Nights Pediatric Complex Medical Care (Part-Time)

Job Summary
Deliver a full range of nursing care within the nursing scope of practice, physician's orders, and care plan for infants through age 14 with complex medical needs. Maintain accurate, completed, and timely records as defined by nursing standards and ChildServe policies. Communicate effectively with residents, physicians, families, and staff to assess and meet assigned care needs. Provide training to patients, families, and staff to advance skills and knowledge. Demonstrate good stewardship of equipment, supplies, and the environment. Work part-time, 6p-6:30a, two shifts per week, every third weekend. Requires current valid Iowa RN or LPN license and active BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Current valid license as a RN or LPN in Iowa
- Active BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the clinic areas, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand
- Ability to communicate effectively in (or through) reading, writing and speaking the English language
