RN/LPN Medical Childcare (PRN)

Job Summary
Administer medications, perform feedings and treatments, and conduct ongoing assessments for children ages 6 weeks to 21 years with complex healthcare needs. Implement care plans including nursing, therapy, and behavior support while monitoring responses and assisting clients with skill development and comfort measures. Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams and families to ensure health and safety needs are addressed, maintaining accurate records of daily observations and changes. Work PRN shifts Monday-Friday, 7:30a-6p, in 10-20 hour increments from 4 to 10 hours, requiring a current Iowa RN or LPN license and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Current valid license as a RN or LPN in Iowa
- Active BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the clinic areas, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand
- Ability to communicate effectively in (or through) reading, writing and speaking the English language
