RN/LPN Medical Childcare (Full Time)

Job Summary
Provide full range of nursing services including medication administration, feedings, and treatments for children ages 6 weeks to 21 years with complex healthcare needs. Perform ongoing assessments, implement care plans involving nursing, therapy, and behavior support, and monitor children's response to care. Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to address health and safety needs while assisting clients in skill development and retention through positioning and safety devices. Maintain accurate records, report daily observations, and communicate professionally with families, schools, and licensed professionals. Direct responsibility for assigned clients within a Monday-Friday schedule, 7:30a-6p, 32-40 hours/week.
Required Qualifications
- Current valid license as a RN or LPN in Iowa
- Active BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the clinic areas, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand
- Ability to communicate effectively in (or through) reading, writing and speaking the English language
