Job Summary
Record patient medical histories, take vital signs, and monitor conditions including fluid intake and output. Administer injections, medications, and wound care while assisting patients with daily activities like eating and bathing. Collect lab samples, observe treatment progress, and provide emotional support. Communicate with families regarding advice and instructions. Maintain accurate patient charts and utilize Point Click Care electronic health records. This full-time weekend warrior position requires an experienced LPN with a current license, strong communication skills, and stamina to work in a multidisciplinary team environment at Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Toledo.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Proven experience as LPN or similar role
- Successful completion of LPN license program
- Familiarity with hospital health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
- Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
- Good knowledge of Point Click Care Electronic health records
- Perfect physical condition and stamina
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and able to handle stress
- Weekend Warrior Position availability
