Job Summary
RN/LPN House Supervisor for 126-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Durham. Oversees nursing throughout the DON’s absence, reviews staffing at shift changes, assigns/replaces staff to meet patient care needs, conducts patient care rounds, coordinates admissions/transfers/discharges, and assists in orienting evening/night shift employees. Requires active RN or LPN license and at least 1 year of nurse-supervisor experience; experience in an acute setting preferred. Provides leadership to ensure high-quality patient care, documentation, and collaboration with patients, families, and coworkers.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed RN or LPN required
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a nurse supervisor
- Experience in an acute care setting preferred
- Strong leadership and staffing coordination skills
- Ability to supervise and evaluate evening/night shift staff
- Strong patient care documentation and coordination skills
