Job Summary
Provide quality medical care for clients throughout admission, treatment, and discharge. Coordinate pharmacy needs, dispense medication, and maintain clear med logs. Collaborate with medical, clinical, and UR teams to ensure total care coordination. Maintain meticulous medical documentation and tracking for each client. Provide patient education in individual and group settings. This role is for the Day Shift at Avenues Recovery Center in Prince Frederick, MD, a 100-bed residential facility offering drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation services.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN or LPN licensure necessary to practice in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented, efficient worker with ability to multitask
- Compassionate, dignified character which models recovery principles
