Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care for ambulatory cardiovascular/thoracic clinic patients under supervision of providers, coordinating outpatient clinic daily operations, education and patient oversight. Serve as primary liaison between patients, staff and providers (including surgical and hospital staff). Must be credentialed as RN, LPN, or CMA with current BLS and ACLS; knowledge of EKG, cardiac arrhythmias, cardiac medications and procedures; minimum 2 years of cardiac nursing experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- RN, LPN, or CMA credential
- RN: Basic Life Support, RN licensure, ACLS
- LPN: Current state LPN license, BLS, ACLS
- CMA: CMA/RMA credential, BLS, ACLS
- 2+ years of cardiac nursing experience preferred
- EKG knowledge, cardiac arrhythmias, cardiac medications and procedures
- Graduate of a nursing program or CMA program with credential maintenance
- Ambulatory clinic experience preferred
- Nursing terminology and basic nursing principles
- Keyboarding and basic office skills
