Job Summary
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to formulate individualized resident care plans and participate in care plan meetings. Institute protocols for falls prevention, safety, behavior management, skin integrity, infection control, and pain assessment while assessing and documenting changes in residents' physical or mental status. Administer and document medications and treatments, maintain narcotics inventory, and delegate workload to direct caregivers. Perform professional duties in accordance with facility policies, the State of New Hampshire Nurse Practice Act, OBRA, and HIPAA. Establish positive working relationships with team members, residents, and family members to facilitate open communication. Work 24 hours a week, 7-3, as part of a team at RiverWoods Exeter, an award-winning independent retirement community dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for residents.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing Degree or Diploma from an accredited college, University or nursing school
- Registered nursing (RN, LPN) license within the State of New Hampshire
- CPR certification
- Maintain CEU's annually

- Long term care facility experience
- Specialized knowledge of nursing care of the elderly
- Rehabilitative nursing knowledge
- Certified in intravenous administration
