Job Summary

Conduct direct resident care in a team-focused environment, collaborating with interdisciplinary members to formulate and update individualized care plans. Institute protocols for falls prevention, safety, behavior management, skin integrity, and infection control while assessing and documenting changes in residents' status. Administer medications and treatments per guidelines, manage narcotics inventory, and provide leadership by delegating workload and supervising direct care results. Establish positive relationships with team members, residents, and families to facilitate open communication.

Required Qualifications

  • Nursing Degree or Diploma from an accredited college, University or nursing school
  • Registered nursing (RN, LPN) license within the State of New Hampshire
  • CPR certification
  • Maintain CEU's annually

Desired Qualifications

  • Long term care facility experience
  • Specialized knowledge of nursing care of the elderly
  • Rehabilitative nursing knowledge
  • Certified in intravenous administration
