Job Summary
RN/LPN for Residential 3.7 Wolfpack program providing direct medical and psychiatric support to patients with substance use disorders. Responsibilities include intake reviews, medication administration and injections (including long-acting injectables), care coordination with internal and external teams, lab draws, wound care, documentation, and participation in care planning. Requires nursing license (LPN or BSN), BLS, strong clinical and communication skills, ability to work in a multidisciplinary residential setting, adherence to HIPAA/42 CFR Part 2, and on-call coverage as needed. Four 10-hour shifts with one weekend shift; located in Portland, OR.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated with an Associate of Nursing (LPN) or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Active nursing license or ability to obtain one within 8 weeks of hire through the state board
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Solid patient care experience
- Ability to collaborate with patients, families, and treatment teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and demonstrate empathy and respect
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Understanding of legal/ethical considerations in substance abuse treatment and patient care
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug tests and background checks
- Compliance with privacy regulations (HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2) and related policies
- Ability to travel between sites as needed
- Willingness to participate in on-call coverage and after-hours phone availability
- Experience with medical administration, injections, lab draws, and care coordination
