Job Summary
Conduct resident care for a specific group of residents at Seward Medical Center, including supervision of team members and coordination of referrals to clinical support, families, and physicians. Serve as the primary point of contact for elder information while ensuring nursing services delivered by Shahbazim are supervised and directly accountable to the director of nursing. Maintain Alaska Registered Nurse licensure and BLS certification upon hire, with a preference for candidates possessing six months of nursing experience in acute care, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings. Work full-time hours with variable shifts, supporting the organization's mission to provide compassionate care to the poor and vulnerable in Alaska.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Alaska Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months of Nursing experience in a health care facility (acute care, long term care, rehabilitation center)
- Supervision/leadership experience
