Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to coordinate care and provide education. Serve as charge nurse to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel while ensuring safe administration of resident care. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Work 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm - 7:00am) with every other weekend and holiday rotations. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible new employees. New grads are welcome to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- 12 hour night shifts (7:00pm - 7:00am) with every other weekend and a rotation of holidays required
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
