Job Summary

Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care plans. Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, educate residents, and perform various nursing interventions. Serve as charge nurse to delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel within their scope of competence. Maintain competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act. Work 12-hour night shifts every other weekend or holiday with a salary range of $30,000 to $48.00.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications

Desired Qualifications

  • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
