Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement health maintenance and treatment plans. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues and families to evaluate care outcomes, while serving as charge nurse to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel. Ensure safe administration of resident care and resolve service concerns within the full scope of nursing expertise. Shifts are 12-hour nights with every other weekend/holiday rotation. Full-time 40-hour schedule with a sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
