Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for residents. Coordinate care plans, conduct resident assessments, and deliver education while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and families. Manage preventative care, health maintenance, and treatment phases, serving as charge nurse to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel. Maintain full scope of practice within the Nurse Practice Act and state standards. Work night shifts in a 12-hour rotation at Gss Nd Lakota Ctr in Lakota, ND, with every other weekend and holiday off.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
