Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to coordinate care and implement interventions. May serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel while ensuring safe administration of resident care. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. This role is part of a not-for-profit organization providing over 100 years of housing and services to seniors in a Christian environment at the Gss Nd Lakota Ctr in Lakota, ND.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
