Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, and treatment. Coordinate care plans through collaboration with families and interdisciplinary providers while demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing expertise. Serve as charge nurse to delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel, ensuring safe administration of resident care and resolution of concerns. This full-time night shift position involves working 12-hour rotations with every other weekend/holiday schedules. The facility offers a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401(k).
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
