Job Summary

Conduct individualized nursing care for residents using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinate care, perform resident assessments, and deliver education while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and families. May serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel within their scope of competence. Provide support to delegates to ensure safe administration of care and resolve service concerns. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure requirements. Work 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend and holidays, with a sign-on bonus available.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Desired Qualifications

  • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
