Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessment, and implement interventions for health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, families, and providers to plan and evaluate care while serving as charge nurse to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing practice and adhere to state licensure and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Work full-time night shifts (12 hours) every other weekend or holiday with a $30,000 sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
