Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement treatment plans for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, residents, and families to evaluate care outcomes and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act. Serve as charge nurse when required to ensure safe administration of resident care and resolve service concerns. Work night shifts in a 12-hour rotation with every other weekend/holiday off, earning $32.50 to $48.00 hourly with a $30,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
