Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents, coordinating assessments, education, and treatment across all phases of preventative care and health maintenance. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, providers, and families to plan, implement, and evaluate resident care plans while demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing expertise. Serve as charge nurse as needed, delegating appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel to ensure safe, reliable administration of care. Maintain licensure and required department-specific certifications while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Work night shifts in a not-for-profit Christian environment serving seniors, with an every-other weekend/holiday schedule and $30,000 sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
