Job Summary

Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care for residents, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, and deliver education. Manage care across preventative, health maintenance, diagnostic, and treatment phases while serving as charge nurse to delegate tasks appropriately. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing practice and adhere to state licensure and American Nurses Association standards. Full-time 40-hour night shift with pay ranging from $32.50 to $48.00 per hour.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Desired Qualifications

  • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
