Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in Long Term Care delivering comprehensive nursing care to residents using the nursing process; collaborates with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams; may serve as charge nurse and supervise licensed/unlicensed staff; duties include assessment, care coordination, resident education, and various nursing interventions across preventive care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment; requires nursing licensure and preferred BSN with compliance to state practice standards.
Required Qualifications
- RN license in the state where practice occurs
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Complies with state Nurse Practice Act and standards
