Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care plans. Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, and deliver resident education while serving as charge nurse to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to state Nurse Practice Act standards. Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:00am to 6:00pm, including every other weekend and rotating holidays. Earn a salary range of $35.00 to $48.00 plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
