Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents, coordinating assessments, education, and interventions across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan and evaluate care plans while demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing practice. May serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel based on resident needs and delegate competence. Requires an unencumbered RN license and adherence to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Schedule includes 12-hour varied day or evening shifts with every other weekend and rotating holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to work 12 hour varied day or evening shifts with every other weekend and a rotation of holidays
- Must be able to work part time schedule
- Must be able to work 28.00 weekly hours
- Must be able to work in Hillsboro, ND
