Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for residents. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, providers, families, and residents to coordinate care, manage health maintenance, and address various nursing interventions. Delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel while ensuring safe administration of resident care and resolving service concerns. This full-time day shift role at GSS NE Albion involves 12-hour rotations with a $5,000 sign-on bonus. The organization has provided over 100 years of housing and services to seniors in a Christian environment.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
