Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides individualized nursing care to residents in a not-for-profit long-term care facility, applying the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) and collaborating with residents, families, and an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Roles may include serving as charge nurse and delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel. Must practice within the scope of nursing and adhere to applicable standards, with 12-hour day shifts, every other weekend, and rotating holidays. Requires an RN license and a nursing degree; BSN preferred. Benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k), time off, sign-on bonus, and a focus on quality care in a Christian environment. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board (and/or multi-state licensure if in an NLC state)
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
