Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care plans. Coordinate resident assessments, education, and interventions while demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing practice. May serve as charge nurse, delegating appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel to ensure safe administration of care. Functions within the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Requires an unencumbered RN license and preferred Bachelor's degree. Full-time day shifts with a $5,000 sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
