Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive nursing care for long-term care residents, performing detailed assessments, monitoring conditions, and reporting significant changes to providers. Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans while overseeing direct nursing care including medication administration and treatments. Supervise LPNs and CNAs to ensure consistent delivery of quality care and adherence to facility policies. Document all assessments, interventions, and communications accurately in the electronic health record. Participate in quality-improvement efforts and interdisciplinary meetings to enhance resident well-being. Requires current or temporary RN license in ND or compact licensure, BLS certification, and experience in a nursing home setting preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current or temporary RN license in ND or compact RN licensure
- BLS certification
- RN program as evidenced by licensure
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills
- Adequate vision, hearing, and fine motor skills
