Job Summary

Conduct comprehensive nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting, including detailed assessments, monitoring conditions, and administering medications and treatments. Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans while supervising LPNs, CNAs, and other staff to ensure consistent quality delivery. Document all interventions and communications in the electronic health record to support regulatory compliance. Participate in quality-improvement efforts, safety initiatives, and interdisciplinary meetings to enhance resident well-being. Requires current or temporary RN license in ND or compact licensure, BLS certification within orientation, and experience in a nursing home preferred. Physical duties involve standing, walking, lifting residents, and using assistive devices. Work occurs in an environment with routine exposure to chronic illnesses, cognitive impairments, and bodily fluids, requiring strict adherence to PPE and infection-prevention standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Current or temporary RN license in ND or compact RN licensure
  • BLS certification
  • RN program as evidenced by licensure
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Adequate vision, hearing, and fine motor skills

  • Previous nursing home experience
