Job Summary
RN Lead - OR provides unit-based leadership in the operating room, supervising and directing nursing and ancillary staff; ensures cost-effective, high-quality patient care with strong emphasis on patient safety and patient experience; collaborates with Nurse Manager/Director, physicians, and health-team members to develop and revise care plans; leads rounds, drives quality initiatives, and ensures compliance with Joint Commission standards and hospital policies; actively participates in performance improvement activities and staffing decisions based on patient acuity and skill mix; requires Bachelor's degree in nursing with RN licensure in CA and supervisory experience; Master’s degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
- RN licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
- Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills: Required
- Master's Degree: Preferred
- Five years' technical experience: Preferred
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Preferred
- Clinical specialty and/or nursing administration certification: Preferred
