Job Summary
RN Lead - OR provides unit-based leadership in an acute care setting, supervising nursing and ancillary staff, coordinating care plans with the Nurse Manager/Director and physicians to ensure safe, cost-effective patient care and high patient satisfaction. Responsibilities include directing patient care activities, staff scheduling, performance evaluation, coaching and disciplinary actions, promoting patient/family-centered care, driving quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with Joint Commission/cquality standards. Requires RN licensure in the state, Bachelor's degree in nursing (Master's preferred) and supervisory experience; BLS certification required; clinical nursing administration experience and ability to lead in a fast-paced OR environment are essential.
Required Qualifications
- RN licensure in state of practice
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent
- Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - required
