RN Lead, Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Full Time, Nights

Lead unit-based leadership in the development and provision of clinical services, supervising and directing nursing and ancillary personnel. Initiate and coordinate individual and team conferences to revise care plans, making rounds to assess patient needs and solicit feedback on quality of nursing services. Manage staffing requirements based on patient acuity, assign personnel to patients, and coach or discipline staff as appropriate. Ensure compliance with Patient Safety Goals, participate in Performance Improvement Teams, and recommend policy changes to improve care and customer satisfaction. Maintain department cleanliness and coordinate equipment repairs while keeping staffing costs within budget.
