RN Lead, Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Full Time, Nights

Job Summary
Provide unit-based leadership by supervising nursing and ancillary personnel, directing care activities, and assigning staff based on patient acuity and skill sets. Initiate team conferences to revise care plans, make rounds to assess patient needs, and solicit feedback to improve quality of care and customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with Patient Safety Goals, manage staffing costs within budget, and resolve operational issues through performance improvement initiatives. Coach, discipline, and evaluate unit employees while directly involved in hiring and termination decisions. Maintain department safety and cleanliness, and document unit activities for the Director.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Five years' technical experience
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Clinical specialty and/or nursing administration certification
