RN Lead, Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Full Time, Nights

Lead unit-based leadership in labor and delivery and postpartum, supervising and directing nursing and ancillary personnel while ensuring cost-effective, safe care and high patient satisfaction. Initiate and coordinate individual and team conferences to revise care plans, make rounds to assess patient needs, and solicit feedback to improve quality of nursing services. Manage staffing requirements based on patient acuity, assign personnel to patients and activities, arrange relief for meals and breaks, and evaluate performance through coaching, discipline, and hiring/termination decisions. Ensure compliance with Patient Safety Goals and The Joint Commission standards, participate in Performance Improvement Teams, and implement systems to address operational issues and staff development needs.
