RN Lead, Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Full Time, Nights

Provide unit-based leadership in the development and provision of clinical services, supervising and directing nursing and ancillary personnel. Initiate and coordinate individual and team conferences to revise care plans, while making rounds to oversee patient needs and solicit feedback on nursing services. Ensure compliance with Patient Safety Goals and quality measures through participation in Performance Improvement Teams, and assess staffing requirements based on patient acuity to assign personnel and manage workloads. Direct performance evaluations, coach staff, and participate in hiring and termination decisions. Maintain department equipment and cleanliness, keeping staffing costs within budget.
