RN Lead, Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Full Time, Nights

Provide unit-based leadership in labor and delivery and postpartum care, supervising nursing and ancillary personnel to ensure cost-effective, safe patient outcomes and high satisfaction. Direct and monitor patient care activities through individual and team conferences, make rounds to assess needs, and solicit feedback to improve quality of nursing services. Manage staffing requirements based on patient acuity, assign personnel, and handle schedule adjustments while coaching, disciplining, and participating in hiring and termination decisions. Ensure compliance with Patient Safety Goals and Joint Commission standards, lead performance improvement initiatives, and maintain department equipment and cleanliness within budget constraints.
