RN Lead - L&D (Full-time, Night Shift)

Job Summary
Provide unit-based leadership by supervising nursing and ancillary personnel, directing care activities, and initiating team conferences to revise patient care plans. Make rounds to assess patient needs, solicit feedback on nursing services, and develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction with patients, families, and physicians. Manage staffing requirements based on patient acuity, assign personnel to patients, and evaluate performance through coaching and disciplinary actions. Ensure compliance with Joint Commission Patient Safety Goals, participate in Performance Improvement Teams, and maintain department equipment and cleanliness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Five years' technical experience
- Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Five years' technical experience
- Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Clinical specialty and/or nursing administration certification
