RN Lead - L&D (Full-time, Night Shift)

Job Summary
Provide unit-based leadership by supervising nursing and ancillary personnel, directing care activities, and managing staffing based on patient acuity and needs. Initiate team conferences to revise care plans, make rounds to assess patient needs, and solicit feedback to improve quality of care and customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with Patient Safety Goals, resolve operational issues, and implement systems to address patient needs while maintaining targeted staffing budgets. Direct performance evaluations, coach staff, and participate in hiring and termination decisions. Maintain equipment and department cleanliness while documenting unit activities and incidents.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Five years' technical experience
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Clinical specialty and/or nursing administration certification
