RN Lead - L&D (Full-time, Night Shift)

Provide unit-based leadership in the development and provision of clinical services, supervising and directing nursing and ancillary personnel. Direct and monitor patient care activities to ensure quality, initiating team conferences to revise care plans and making rounds to assess patient needs. Manage staffing requirements based on patient acuity, assigning personnel to patients and balancing workloads while arranging relief for breaks. Ensure compliance with Patient Safety Goals, The Joint Commission standards, and performance improvement initiatives. Investigate and resolve patient care and operational issues, recommending policy changes and coaching staff on performance. Maintain department equipment and cleanliness, keeping staffing costs within budget.
