RN Lead - L&D (Full-time, Night Shift)

Job Summary
Provide unit-based leadership by supervising nursing and ancillary personnel, directing patient care activities, and assigning staff based on acuity and skill needs. Initiate team conferences to revise care plans, make rounds to assess patient needs, and solicit feedback to improve quality of care and satisfaction. Ensure compliance with Joint Commission safety goals, manage staffing costs within budget, and resolve operational or patient care issues. Coach, discipline, and evaluate unit employees while directly participating in hiring and termination decisions. Maintain department equipment and cleanliness, documenting incidents and special needs for the Director.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Five years' technical experience
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Clinical specialty and/or nursing administration certification
