RN Lead - L&D (Full-time, Night Shift)

Job Summary
Provide unit-based leadership by supervising nursing and ancillary personnel, directing care activities, and managing staffing based on patient acuity and needs. Coordinate individual and team conferences to revise care plans, make rounds to assess patient needs, and solicit feedback on nursing services. Ensure compliance with Patient Safety Goals, participate in Performance Improvement Teams, and investigate operational issues. Develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction, recommend policy changes, and coach or discipline personnel as appropriate. Maintain equipment safety, manage staffing costs within budget, and directly participate in hiring and termination decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- Five years' technical experience
- Supervisory experience
- demonstrated supervisory skills
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
- all required vaccinations
- acknowledged access to and reading of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree

- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Clinical specialty and/or nursing administration certification
