RN Lead - L&D (Full-time, Night Shift)

Provide unit-based leadership by supervising and directing nursing and ancillary personnel to ensure cost-effective, professional care and high patient safety. Initiate and coordinate individual and team conferences to revise care plans, make rounds to assess patient needs, and solicit feedback on quality of nursing services. Manage staffing requirements based on patient acuity, assign personnel to patients, and arrange relief for meals and breaks. Direct and monitor performance activities, coach and discipline staff as appropriate, and participate in hiring and termination decisions. Ensure compliance with Patient Safety Goals, implement systems for staff development, and recommend policy changes to improve customer satisfaction.
