RN Lead - L&D (Full-time, Night Shift)

Job Summary
Lead unit-based leadership and supervise nursing and ancillary personnel to ensure cost-effective, safe care and high patient satisfaction. Direct individual and team conferences to revise care plans, make rounds to assess patient needs, and solicit feedback on quality services. Manage staffing based on patient acuity, assign personnel, arrange relief, and handle schedule adjustments while coaching, disciplining, or making hiring and termination decisions. Ensure compliance with Joint Commission safety goals, participate in performance improvement teams, and implement staff development activities. Maintain equipment, document incidents, and keep staffing costs within budget.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Five years' technical experience
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Clinical specialty and/or nursing administration certification
