RN Lead - ICU (Full-Time, Night Shift)

Job Summary
Provide unit-based leadership by supervising and directing nursing and ancillary personnel, initiating team conferences to revise care plans, and making rounds to assess patient needs. Ensure cost-effective, high-quality care while fostering a patient-centered environment that addresses cultural diversity and personal needs. Manage staffing requirements based on patient acuity, assign personnel to specific activities, and coach or discipline staff as needed. Investigate and resolve patient care and operational issues, recommend policy changes, and ensure compliance with Joint Commission safety goals and performance improvement initiatives. Maintain department equipment and cleanliness while keeping staffing costs within budget.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Five years' technical experience
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Clinical specialty and/or nursing administration certification
