RN Lead - ICU (Full-Time, Night Shift)

Job Summary
Lead unit-based leadership and supervise nursing and ancillary personnel, directing activities and assigning staff based on patient acuity and needs. Initiate and coordinate team conferences to revise care plans, while making rounds to assess patient care and solicit feedback. Ensure compliance with Patient Safety Goals, manage staffing costs within budget, and resolve patient care and operational issues. Coach, discipline, and evaluate unit employees, including decisions to hire or terminate. Maintain department equipment and cleanliness, and recommend policy changes to improve quality of care and patient satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Five years' technical experience
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Clinical specialty and/or nursing administration certification
