RN Lead - ICU (Full-Time, Night Shift)

Job Summary
Provide unit-based leadership in the development and provision of clinical services, supervising and directing nursing and ancillary personnel. Initiate and coordinate individual and team conferences to revise care plans, while making rounds to assess patient needs and solicit feedback on quality of nursing services. Manage staffing requirements based on patient acuity, assign personnel to patients, and coach or discipline staff as appropriate. Ensure compliance with Patient Safety Goals and The Joint Commission standards, participate in Performance Improvement Teams, and develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction for patients, families, and physicians.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Five years' technical experience
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Clinical specialty and/or nursing administration certification
